Pizza Dip
This warm Pizza Dip tastes just like great pizza!
So how can this be? It really does taste just pizza, and it's so good. We've used mushrooms and onions in place of pepperoni, and that's excellent also. We use a chafing dish to hold the hot dip surrounded by breads. If it gets too thick, just add some boiling water and give it a stir. Ingredients
16 ounces cream cheese 28+/- ounces of pizza sauce 1 pound of pepperoni, uncut 1 chopped onion 32 ounces of mozzarella cheese
Directions
Slice off 1/4 pound of pepperoni. Save for a garnish. Cut the remaining 3/4 pound into small pieces, maybe 3/6"square. Mix it all together and put it into a greased 9"x13" that you plan to serve it in. You can refrigerate this now and bake it later. Just before party time, put the dish into the oven at 375° for 30 minutes. Slice the garnish pepperoni into thin slices, like you see on top of pizzas. When it comes out of the oven, arrange those slices on top, and some around the edges. The best, out of this world dipper for this recipe is breadsticks. If you can manage hot ones, right out of the oven, you may just have the happiest party guests ever! Seriously. Questions about the Pizza Dip?
