Oreo Cheesecake Recipe - Delicious and Fun!

If you love Oreo cookies, you’ll flip for this cheesecake.

We’re going to be using the Oreo cookies for the crust, with more mixed in with the filling, and as a topping. And why not? They are so good with the rich cake.

This is probably the easiest cheesecake recipe we use, but still with great quality and appeal. Everyone says, “Ummmmm...”

Kids of all ages love this one - great for family parties.

Ingredients

30 OREO Cookies
3 tablespoons butter, melted
24 ounces cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 eggs



Directions

Crush 18 cookies with a rolling pin. Place in bowl. Add butter and mix. Press firmly into bottom of 9-inch greased springform pan.

Beat the cream cheese, sugar and vanilla in large bowl on medium until well blended. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until blended.

Crush 8 cookies. Gently stir half of the chopped cookies into cream cheese batter. Pour over prepared crust. Break the rest of the cookies into larger pieces and sprinkle on the crust.

Bake for 50 minutes in a preheated 350° oven. Refrigerate overnight.

We often add a few more cookies on top or around the cheesecake as a garnish - and we use chocolate sauce sometimes as well.

This particular recipes freezes very well. After completely cooled, carefully remove from the pan and wrap tightly with film. Freeze immediately - it will hold up for several weeks. Be sure to thaw it in the refrigerator.
