Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe
Our Chocolate Pudding Cake Recipe is
especially good for a larger party
We love this simple cake, and so do our customers. It sets up fast, is easy to make and always well received.
We recently did a children's party where the parents wanted their kids to help in the prep work. So we turned them loose on this pie. Our baker had a ball - and the kids really enjoyed it and took such pride when it was announced at the party that they had done it "...all by myself.!!"
Truth is, pro caterers seldom make cakes from scratch. But we sure do when a recipe is this good. Caterer’s Cake Secrets gives you lots of ideas, especially for larger parties.

In a 9x13” pan sprayed with vegetable release, break up the Angel Food cake and cover the pan with it’s pieces.
Prep the chocolate pudding following the pack directions, then spread it over the cake. Then spread the Cool Whip on top of the pudding. Sprinkle the shredded chocolate on top of the cream.
Off to the refrigerator, preferable overnight. We have held this cake in the fridge for as much as 3 days.
