Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars
When we do a cookie bar, we want an easy, delicious recipe
Our bar cookies are usually made in 18”x26” sheet pans, so we want a good, simple recipe that works every time - here it is, scaled down to a 9”x13” pan.
Bar cookies are very popular for parties. One reason is that you can easily control the size you're serving. This is different from cookies, which change size during baking - and then you're stuck with however they turn out. But with bars, you will cut them to size. So you can get them just right for your stand-up buffet with limited plating, or larger for a knife and fork it gig. Portion control.
Filling and delicious, these cookies can be a stand-alone dessert or served with other chocolate desserts.
