Chicken Nuggets Recipes Recipe
with an Easy Twist!

Check out this cool spin on chicken nuggets - stuff them with cheese!

A Chicken Nuggets Recipe as famous as McDonald’s, the kid’s fav – you bet!

It's just that 350° cooking oil and lots of kids running around don’t go together – at least not for us.

The pros buy a good quality, pre-made made chicken nugget and bake them. It’s that simple. Ronald wouldn’t approve, but hey – he’s not invited!

But one more thing – follow our recipe for a treat they won’t forget!

Portions/Servings

This recipe will feed 25 kids, if you are you are serving other snacks, and/or appetizers, dinners, etc. Read about Party Food Quantities and how to plan for the right amounts.

Chicken Nuggets Recipe Shopping List for 25 People:

___50-75 Chicken nuggets. Two each for younger children, three for older, and so on. Teens will gobble them up! Read the package to get the right quantities. We always use “plain,” normal coating, and we like Weaver Products.

___ Ketchup, large bottle.

Procedure:

Two Days before the Party:

Let the frozen nuggets thaw in the refrigerator.

The Day Before the Party:

Remove the thawed nuggets from the fridge.

Using your sharp small knife, carefully make a slice most of the way through each nugget.

You want the cut to allow the nugget to open like a clam.

Now take some American cheese and cut or break 2 pieces to fit inside each nugget. You don’t want too much.

Put the cheese into most of the nuggets. Leave some plain for kids who don’t eat dairy.

Lay the them out on an aluminum foiled pan and spray them with vegetable spray to give them a familiar flavor. Cover with film and store in the refrigerator overnight.

The Day of the Party:

Remove the nuggets from the fridge. Follow the package directions for baking the chicken nuggets.

You want them to be cooked through, but not two crunchy for small teeth. They are fully cooked when they reach 165°, internal. Use your chef’s thermometer to make sure.

SAFETY TIP: Allow them to stand for several minutes before serving.

Presentation: Your Eyes Eat First

Have fun with your presentation, but remember two things: never use toothpicks when serving children, and count on them handling two for every one of they take. The best way to serve them is to have your helper stand at the table and help the kids to pick the very best one!

Leftovers:

Store any leftovers in small zip lock bags, squeeze out the air and seal tightly. Be sure to rewarm them to 165° internal.
